Why PRI Manuka Honey?

Manuka Honey is the only honey found so far that exhibits non-peroxide activity. This is thought to be due to Methylglyoxal, a unique compound found within Manuka Honey. This makes the honey a powerful digestive aid, assisting with allergies and immune defense. It is a potent anti-bacterial agent when used topically for minor wounds and burns. It is also heat tolerant, enabling it to reach your digestive system without losing any of its beneficial properties.

Take 2-3 teaspoonful’s 3 times a day. Best if taken 30 minutes before every meal.

Please note: the consumption of honey is not suitable for children under the age of one.

All of the Manuka Honey we have tried from PRI has a rich flavor to it that we love. It is a distinct flavor in my opinion but just oh so good. I do take a teaspoon or a two a day to enjoy the benefits and the yummy taste.

Salted Manuka Honey Caramels

PRI Caramels

The Salted Manuka Honey Caramels are still one of my favorites and shhh but I still don’t share them with the family, these ones are all for mom. Enjoy the soft chewy caramel, the pure New Zealand sea salt bringing out that delicious Manuka Flavor! Best of all they are produced in the USA.

Manuka Honey Chocolates with Mint or with Ginger

manuka-honey-chocolates-2

If you love real dark chocolate you then PRI’s award winning chocolates are for you. They are made by wrapping rich dark chocolate around the finest New Zealand Manuka Honey tested 5+ and adding a touch of mint or ginger. These ones are the mint but I’ve had the ginger ones too and love them both. Now keep in mind this is a dark chocolate so it’s not sweet and the mint is with the honey. It’s not going to taste like a peppermint patty and nor should it. It’s a subtle mint flavor but I don’t feel guilty when I eat these treats. It’s 99% dark chocolate wow and they are all natural, gluten free, dairy free and kosher with no artificial colors or preservatives, only 3 ingredients: Pure PRI Manuka Honey, Dark Chocolate and Mint!

PRI Manuka Honey Nuggets

honey-nuggets

Manuka Honey Nuggets are the perfect everyday treat made with Manuka Honey 5+. They come in three fantastic flavors; Manuka Honey, Lemon & Honey and Ginger. Great for sweet tooth cravings, sporting events, dry and tired throats or even to sweeten your favorite hot beverage!

Manuka Honey Lollipops

PRI Children’s Strawberry & Manuka Honey Lollipops are great tasting and have the benefits of Propolis, Manuka Honey, and Menthol to help fight off infections. My daughter and I both tried these and agreed if we wanted to save them fr emergencies we’d better put them away because we liked them too much. They are not too sweet just right.

  1. I'd really like the try the Dark Chocolate and Mint Manuka Honey Chocolates. I like mint and chocolate, but I'm not a peppermint patty fan, so I was so glad you mentioned it.

  2. I love how bee keepers are able to source honey specific from a certain flower. I admit to never having heard of a Manuka Bush but, on the flip side, I have never been to New Zealand even though I want to. Where I live local farmer markets have roughly 6 different flower specific honeys. If you haven't realized it ~ love honey and so do my kids 🙂 Would love to try this!

  20. The first time I heard of Manuka honey, it was from a guy that had healed some nasty burns on his palm and fingers with it. I saw the before and after and it was amazing. I have since always wanted to get some Manuka honey to keep on hand, but had never known about the digestive properties of it. And that candy looks so good!

  21. I've only ever used manuka honey for homemade facial masks and lip balms. Then my husband started getting a cold and a sore throat. I put manuka honey and propolis in tea, which he drank twice. The next morning, his throat no longer was painful. After reading your review though, I'd loved to try some of those candies!

  33. Wow, I am surprised at the information on the difference between manuka honey versus typical honey. It's pretty neat it's heat resistent so your body can absorb it and use the minerals properly as honey usually totes it's health benefits to be. Also, I'm a chocoholic but when you reviewed the salted honey caramels, it reminded me of my favorite caramel chews as a kid. They look really appealing to try.

  36. I would love to get like a sample box of all of these! I am not a big fan of dark chocolate but maybe the mint would make it something I would enjoy. In a dry state like CO, the kids and I could sure use those lollipops to keep us going!!! It seems like an excellent way to help fight off infections!
