World Vision Heaton Hope Bracelet

This gold cuff would make an incredible gift! I’m sure you have someone in mind just by taking a look at this piece of jewelry. I still can’t get over the fact that this gorgeous piece supports World Vision’s mission to empower people out of poverty.

World Vision Infinity Scarf

This gift idea comes in the form of a scarf. It is made by creative artisans in India. They are trained to use a loom and create masterpieces such as this scarf. Not only do they create a gorgeous fashion accessory, it gives these folks an opportunity to gain and use skills that in turn give them an opportunity to thrive.

The scarf is well made, it has beautiful colors, and I cannot get over how soft it is. It would make the perfect gift for a variety of people on your list.

World Vision Vietnamese Tote

Take a look at the embroidery on this bag! It is all done by hand! The credit behind this gift idea goes wot Vietnamese women who happen to have disabilities. Like the scarf above, it helps them make a living by creating handcrafted bags such as this one.

The fabric is very soft. It reminds me of a baby blanket. There is a zipper enclosure and a pocket inside of the tote. The handles are easy to hold and are made of the same material as the bag itself. I’m in love with this bag. Unique, beautiful, and it has come in handy carrying all of my stuff around the past few weeks. It has become my new favorite bag.

World Vision Charm Necklace

Here is another option for a unique gift that gives back, a charm necklace. There are 4 charms on the chain and they all compliment one another. There is a turquoise bead, silver heart, silver bell, and teardrop shaped charm. Very cute! This gift idea would be perfect for a teacher, neighbor, or even a teen girl.

World Vision Wrap Around Ring

No need to worry if this ring will fit because it is adjustable! The stones have a precise cut that makes them shine. The different shades of blue would compliment just about any wardrobe.

World Vision African Soapstone Box

The artists who create this box are full of talent. There is a giraffe as well as shapes and patterns etched onto this box. The detail is incredible! You could use this box to hold jewelry or other small trinkets. It would also make a great gift box!

  3. While all the things to buy for oneself of those you want to gift in your life are beautiful pieces (the African Soapstone box is my favorite), I for one think the gifting of gifts that give back to those in need are more my style. The chickens and goat; milk and eggs provide necessary and needed nutrients plus, extra can be sold for money which they could use for what else they need.

I’m not talking about the huge companies, I mean the actual talented people making everything! This is so awesome! I love the items in their catalog too. I can’t find ONE item I don’t like! haha God bless everyone this holiday season!

  34. Thank you for featuring World Vision, and for bringing it to my/our attention. I was rather moved when reading through this review, especially in looking at the items pictured. It’s such a big world out there, and yet so small– and when we make these unique kinds of human connections, to me it seems even more big and at the same time even more small.
…I hope this is making some sort of sense! 🙂 I’m really interested in this organization/company, and am looking forward to browsing their catalog some more. Thank you once again.
