UpCart the stair climbing cart can make moving things easier!

My husband and I just recently sold our 2200 square foot home and are building a new home. We had lived in our home for 9 1/2 years. At the time we bought it we had 2 teenage sons at home. Needless to say, we had ALOT of stuff! We made what seemed like, endless trips with hand trucks in and out of that house, and there were steps….. lots of steps. I wish I had heard of the UpCart a month ago!  You may be asking, ‘what is an UpCart?’ It is a unique cart that marries the stair climbing capabilities with the ease of folding flat for storage.

UpCart folded flat for easy storage!

UpCartI got the UpCart deluxe with a free bungee and the deluxe upgrade bag.  This thing is amazing, I love it and wish I had it when we were moving, but it will definitely get used when moving in the new house since we will have a basement.UpCart

UpCart comes in four different styles…. You can choose one that would fit your needs. They have the original or deluxe that is good for everyday use. If you need to move things up or down stairs for work or home this would work for you.  The Original carries up to 100 lbs. and the Deluxe up to 125 lbs., with a raised platform and adjustable handle position.

The Lift is a hand truck that can assist in moving heavier boxes or furniture and appliances.  Its platform is flush to the ground, with 4 adjustable handle positions and a two hand grip. They also have the City UpCart which is ideal for smaller living spaces and a Pro Shopper UpCart that is great for grocery shopping or hobbies.

I wanted to try the UpCart to see how easy it would be for my mom to use. My dad had a stroke last year and is not able to help her bring stuff in the house anymore when they go shopping or travel. She is now solely responsible for loading and unloading the car and they have about 8 steps into their house.  My husband and I both agree that this would make her life easier and not as many trips back and forth to the car.  UpCart

Where can you get one?  I’m glad you asked, you can order from UpCart.com or through various retailers such as but not limited to: Amazon.com, Bedbathandbeyond.com, Homedepot.com, lowes.com, QVC, Walmart.com and more!

I hadn’t thought about someone older carrying everything in from a shopping trip. These sound wonderful.

  6. I wondered if this actually worked. We park in the garage and then come up the basement steps into the house. Groceries can be a pain. This looks like a great solution.

  7. I have been looking for a new cart and this maybe my answer. I don’t need it for steps but it looks like it would go over places on the sidewalk with ease. I am a senior and need it to get stuff from my car into the house. Need to check on this further

  8. Oh my goodness, I could totally use this. I am constantly over-exerting myself trying to get heavy items where they need to go. Sucks to not have help on most days.

  14. Wow, I expect to be moving next year, and we aren’t allowed to use the elevator for moving, that is four flights of stairs. This would be so nice! I’m saving it!!

  15. My sister lives on the third floor of an apartment building. This would really help her move stuff up and down stairs more easily, especially since she has issues with her back and knees. Great product!
