  1. He follows me everywhere I go. Like he is my shadow. He even tries to come in the bathroom with me but settles for sitting outside the door waiting anything but patiently for my return. 🙂

  5. I had Angus on his leash, ready for his walk…I was in the backyard and decided to take the trash can from the back up the road. It was extremely heavy, so using my quick wits, I tied the leash to the can thinking Angus could help pull the can. Not one of my greatest ideas. He is very strong. He yanked the can and it went flying across the lawn with him dragging it. Trash went everywhere! Did I mention I had just cleaned up dog poop as well? Yeah, it took me over an hour to clean up trash ALL over the front lawn…!

  6. I live in a nursing home and I was in one of the residents rooms with Hazel. We visited for a while and then Hazel left the room. A little while later she came back with something in her mouth. All I could see was a part of a hamburger roll. I told her to drop it and to all our surprise she dropped an entire homemade chicken salad sandwich. We were all hysterical laughing. Someone wasn’t going to miss a good lunch.

  7. My little Westie got up on the couch next to my niece while she was visiting. He started to paw at the sheet that was covering the couch (rain and dogs, ya know) like he was trying to make a bed, then began chewing at the sheet. My niece patted him on the head and he growled, which is highly unusual, so I got up and went over to see what was wrong with him. It turns out, my other dog had left his chewie on the couch and then the sheet was turned back on top of it, so we didn’t realize there was a chewie that poor Frostie was trying to get at!

  8. I have a rat terrier and one day I saw a mouse in the bathroom. I grabbed my dog and showed her the mouse and she peed and ran the other way. Looks like I had to be the one chasing the mouse.

  11. Well I have a couple of cute stories,I have a Siberian husky and when we first got her at 10 months old when she would have to go potty in the morning, she would go on my husband side of the bed and use her teeth to pull the covers off of my husband side of the bed to let him know she had to go potty,I would just bust up laughing every time, and the other story is my son just purchased 4 puppies that are almost 2 months old.3 of them are prom hi and 1 full blooded Pom,and he built a pen for them out of coated fencing with four post, well they use to have full run of the yard until they kept going out toward the alley,so we put them in the pen and they hate it,they are use to running,so they would take turns digging a hole in the corner while the other 3 stood guard in front of them,so we would not know they were trying to escape, long story short they have holes dug all around the inside of the pen and they get mad when we try to fill them in,so now 2 of them are actually climbing the fence trying to get out,and the 1 has mastered it pretty well, you literally turn your back for a second and he out,it’s so funny to watch, well that just a couple of my stories,I have a lot more, maybe at a later date I’ll share some more, thanks for the chance.

  12. When I first got my Sadie we were at my mom’s for dinner….picking with her, I laid a biscuit on the floor we were waiting for her to bite at it and make mess….but she did not. When I got ready to go home…I had to bring the biscuit home with me…a day or so later, I picked it up to throw it into the trash….it’s hardened good by now….she heart it hit the can and came to it and moaned and barked until I got it out…it took her going on a walk with someone else and me throwing it away then for it to be gone!

  15. We have 2 dogs: a Pomeranian named Lola who has bonded with our daughter (now almost 5). Let’s her play dress up and knows when it’s bedtime. We also have a black lab JD who is a rescue. Both are senior doggies and love being part of the family. My daughter is in Pre K this year. JD now knows what the school bus looks like and comes with us to the bus stop because he loves being outside and with us… so much that when we put him inside one day when we were picking vegetables in the garden that he nearly pushed an air conditioner out the window to come out to be with us! *Picture paws and muzzle coming out the sliding part meant to keep the bugs out!

  16. Evidently our Sallee figures Mom has to put her to bed. She’ll wait on the steps outside of the door in the evening ready to be let in. My hubby has gone out there as many as 3 times & she’ll go back down the steps. He’ll get fed up & I’ll go out & she’ll come right in!

  17. I got a package come to the house via UPS or FedEx. I can’t remember. Anyway I was about to open it up as usual and my dog started tearing at the box on the edges. He had never done this before and I found it to be different behavior for him until I got into the box and it was a bag of dog food. He knows what he likes.

  19. One of my doggies likes to bark when the parrot lures it over to his cage acting like its hung up. It is a game the parrot does to get attention and the dog likes playing the game too.
