Powered by Mom Blog & Daughter review some more fun stuff from Melissa & Doug!

Just in time for summer we received some more cool stuff from Melissa and Doug to keep me busy I mean my daughter busy during the Summer. We received some cool craft stuff for those days where the weather is not so great or we just feel like hanging out!

My daughter absolutely loves the scratch glitter paper from Melissa and Doug so this time we got a few different ones, we have silver, pink and gold! If you don’t know what that paper is you’re missing out it’s tons of of fun. The paper is black but when you take a pencil and start to draw or write on the paper it reveals your creating in the glitter color that’s underneath so much fun!

As you can see from the picture above we selected the Deluxe Holographic kit that has a variety of scratch glitter paper along with some stencils you can use on the paper, it’s a lot of fun and can be used for almost all ages. In addition my daughter selected decorate your own piggy banks, one is a cute little pig which she’s already decorated blue along with a few other colors and a cupcake bank that she’s going to give to a friend for her upcoming birthday.

She also received a door hanger sign that she customized with her name on it so now it hangs on her bedroom door and there’s no mistaking whose bedroom that is lol. We’re also going to give doing some origami a try as we received some origami paper with instructions on how to create some figures, this should be interesting but hey why not it’s something new to try.

My daughter also received this very big dragon, at least I think it’s big but I have to say it’s very well made and all the children who come over seem to be drawn to it, it’s colorful and fun to look at and hey it’s a dragon lol. As you can see by the 2nd picture with the little boy it’s a good sized dragon!

BUT I would definitely try out their glitter paper since it is made my Melissa and Doug I know it is made very well and the glitter has little to no chance of making a huge mess! 😀
