How to Eat Healthy Food Made Easy

What is your biggest challenge when it comes to eating healthy? For me, it was time. I always had good intentions. I would buy my veggies and meat and try to skip the carbs. And in the fridge they would sit as day after day would pass and I couldn’t find the time to cook up a full meal. Thankfully, Doorstep Meals has renewed my hope with their Healthy Life System. It’s healthy food made easy.

The Menus

Healthy Food Made Easy

Doorstep has over 35 meals on their menu. There is a wide variety of styles and flavors. Plus, you can even search for their Paleo and Keto specific meals. I left it up to them as to what I would get outside of my restrictions, and I had everything from Chorizo and Eggs, to Ginger Garlic Chicken. And it was all so incredibly delicious. Most of the meals come with meat and veggies. The veggies are sometimes just green beans, or sometimes a variety of mixed veggies. And these meals were so good I even ate the cauliflower. I do NOT eat cauliflower after a very negative experience with it in my past. But I ate it. And it was good.

I love that I had the choice between their regular and large meals. And boy am I glad I got the regular-sized portions. They were SO filling. I’ll be honest when I first saw these tiny trays of food I was not optimistic. I’ve tried too many prepared meals in trays that barely touch my hunger. One night I could not even finish the full tray of food I got so full. I had to save it and eat the rest later. I cannot imagine how many meals a large tray could make for myself, but would be great for sharing!

Backed by Science

All of Doorstep’s meals (and even the delicious cookies) were developed with the help of Dr. Alex Smithers, one of the country’s leading medical doctors specializing in health and wellness. They are designed to have the perfect balance of protein, fat, and carbs while still accommodating different diet types. The pre-biotic cookies feature Dr. Alex’s pre-biotic blend, are totally gluten-free, and contain no preservatives nor refined sugars. They are crumbly, and oh so delicious. Plus they help make me feel more full so I’m less prone to snacking.

Seriously, every step is easy. I went online, decided if I wanted 12 or 24 meals, picked the meals I preferred, and they arrive on my doorstep in an insulated box with dry ice (don’t burn yourself!). Inside I had 12 meals plus a box of 7 pre-biotics cookies. If you are going to use the meals within 12 days you can stick them in the fridge to thaw. When ready for one, I just popped it in my microwave for 2-3 minutes. That. Was. It. I probably have not eaten this well, this healthily, this consistently in years.

A Rewarding Meal Delivery Service

Not only are the meals delicious, filling, and healthy, but Doorstep Meals also has a reward program. I can earn points on all my purchases that go towards free meals, and I can earn bonuses for referring friends. And really, I would recommend these guys. The value is clear to me with these meals. And with the variety, I never get bored. And nothing beats having my dinner ready in just 2-3 minutes when I’m busy cooking for the kids, completing online classes, and working all at once.
