We’re thrilled to introduce our new favourite premium chocolates brand Hagensborg Chocolates! I can’t tell you enough how excited I was to learn about Hagensborg Chocolates and even more excited to learn that their factory is in Delta, BC where I live and there store is in Burnaby. I love finding new local companies to support and let me tell you for a chocolate loving family to find local premium chocolates we are in chocolate heaven! I was lucky enough to receive this amazing box full of delicious Hagensborg Chocolates!
Hagensborg Chocolates the cutest theme, it’s all about the little piglets from their Truffle Pigs & Piglets to their Wild Boar bars and there’s even a Kiss Me Frog thrown in there for good measure. No matter what chocolate you discover with Hagensborg Chocolates you won’t be disappointed.
I have to admit I even loved the box these yummy chocolates came in, so cute and I will totally re-use it!
We’re talking premium, fine chocolates here with top quality ingredients as well, you can’t go wrong, in fact you can go very, very right. They have some combinations you may not have yet seen in other chocolate companies but they will be your new favourites. How about a Truffle Pig’let Milk Peanut butter & Raspberry Jam chocolate? Yes PB & J in your chocolate, oh my!
My favourites were anything dark chocolate but in particular the dark chocolate peppermint and the dark chocolate with almonds Truffle Pigs.
My daughter adored the Milk Chocolate with peanut butter which you can see below. I just had to show you how good they looked, smooth, creamy and oh so rich, oh my! Seriously, one Truffle Pig will have you in chocolate heaven, it’s rich so you might not be able to eat the whole bar in one sitting but you’ll want to try!
I’m not exaggerating when I say that my taste buds have been tantalized by these chocolates, they are now the only chocolates that I want and I haven’t even tried out all of the varieties yet. Now while I generally prefer dark chocolate I loved the milk chocolate from Hagensborg as well. This is what happens when you have premium quality chocolate. It doesn’t taste as sweet as other milk chocolates which is why I generally don’t do milk chocolate it’s usually too sweet for me.
Not that I need an excuse to eat the Hagensborg’s Chocolates but having one of the dark chocolate truffle pigs with my coffee is such a treat.

I love the fact that they are a Canadian Company and better yet a BC company. I always try to support local and regional products and businesses. And now about the chocolate I would definitely love to try it all. I may be a male but I also love my chocolate.

OMG the kiss me frogs are too cute! I am usually a dark, DARK chocolate girl. After reading that their milk chocolate is not as sweet as others’ I am intrigued and would like to try it.

I liked that there fine quality chocolates and that there locally made. There almost to cute to eat lol . they seem like amazing chocolates im pregnant and have cravings like chocolate like crazy and would have no problem eating these for that.

I also like the box and after i ate all the goodies I would use the box for my crafting supplies and chocolate in coffee is pure bliss.

Wow, I have to say, I really would like to try these chocolates. I am a chocoholic! I don’t eat it in big amounts but I do like to enjoy it from time to time. And the more variety, the better! I didn’t know there were so many ways to make chocolate.

I find the fact a woman owns/operates/creates this luscious chocolate company an advance for all women in the chocolatier business. I know there are a few women, but it is nice to see a newer startup company also began by a mother to boot. It’s exciting to see the name Truffle Pig because it is so darn cute. OMG!!! Chocolate! I am a huge chocoholic!!!! I’m not a huge fan of the dark chocolate, however, I love Peppermint Patties which are dark chocolate (?) My chocolate is the milk chocolate! I love milk chocolate, caramel, nuts, mint, etc. These Hagensborg Chocolates look so delicious!!! With our financial situation, I have not been able to afford to get a premium chocolate, which of course, I love! My family loves fine dark chocolate and the kids love anything milk chocolate. Dark chocolate is proven to lower the risk of heart attacks when taken in moderation and it is one of the best antioxidants around.
They also sell this brand at the health food stores here.It is a much higher concentration of coco!YUM!

I love the review and letting us know that the milk chocolate isn’t sweet like other milk chocolates. I love biting into chocolate and tasting the creamy chocolatey smooth taste and not just a mouth full of sugar. And they all look like there amazing.
