Fissler Pressure Cooker Honey BBQ Chicken
Making dinner for the family can be so time-consuming at times. One of my favorite kitchen gadgets ever is a pressure cooker. That’s because it does so much, and quickly. It can take a meal that used to take over an hour and reduces it to a mere 15 minutes. One of my go-to recipes is Honey BBQ Chicken and my family loves it. I usually have to make a double batch if I want any leftovers. This Fissler pressure cooker is perfect for this and so many more recipes.

I was sold on pressure cookers after the first time I used one. If you haven’t used one yet, please give it a try. They are easy to use, and as I said above, it saves you so much time.
Here is my recipe for the Honey BBQ Chicken. As you can see there are very few ingredients and all are ones I keep on hand, so it’s a recipe I can make almost any night of the week.
Pressure Cooker Honey BBQ Chicken
Enjoy delicious and tender honey bbq chicken in no time thanks to this pressure cooker recipe.
Ingredients
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 3 tablespoons (or more if you want) Minced garlic
- ½ cup honey
- ½ cup brown sugar
- Package of chicken legs
- Extra BBQ for later about ¼ cup
Instructions
- Add BBQ sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, honey, and brown sugar in into the Fissler and stir until the brown sugar is dissolved.
- Add the chicken legs. I add half and stir to coat and then add the other half and then repeat.
- Place the lid. Press the cooking mode to chicken. If you do frozen chicken, up the time just a few more minutes. Otherwise just wait a few seconds and it will start.
- Once it’s to pressure and done release the steam. Place on a baking sheet with tin foil and put a little bit of BBQ sauce on each leg. Place in the boiler for 5 mins. Flip each leg and put BBQ on the other side and put back in the boiler for 5 more mins and you are done.
Notes
Serve with your fav sides. If you do rice you can reduce the sauce a little with it on sauté while it’s in the boiler and serve as a sauce for the rice.

One feature I haven’t dived into yet is the sous vide on this Fissler Pressure Cooker, but it’s one I want to. I have heard many friends who have tried it with their machines and rave about it. I’m looking forward to testing it out. I love the fact that I don’t need another machine that costs hundreds of dollars and it’s built into the Fissler Souspreme Multipot. Besides the sous vide there are 17 other one-touch cooking programs. I don’t know about you but that’s impressive to me.
Price rise, this is amazing. For $99 you get multiple machines in one. This is beyond worth it in my book, but I’m a pressure cooker girl. Try it and tell me what you think, or if you have one, what’s your favorite recipe?
Definitely take the time to look at this multipot pressure cooker either for yourself this someone else. It can make for a fantastic gift this holiday season. If I didn’t already have one, I would be putting it on my list for Santa to bring me.
