Being at home is not code for I’ve got more time on my hands.
What do you think? Do moms who work from home have more time on their hands?
I hope you read my article and provide some comments would love to hear from you.
I recently did a guest post for a friend of mine Renee Sullivan on her blog. It’s a different topic for me but I enjoyed writing it and thought it was something I needed to write. As a mom who has always worked full-time outside the home for all of my daughter’s 10 years I felt I had an interesting perspective on this. For those of you who don’t know just late last year I was laid off from my job as a Manager at a university where I worked 50+hours/week. I was ready to leave, crappy boss, crappy environment at least the last department I was in, I had loved being there before when I had a wonderful boss but things changed as they can and this one was not a good change.
I am now blogging and setting up a home-based business (more to come on that) and helping my husband with his business by trying to set up the accounting for it instead of paying an accountant to do it all. I’m pretty darn busy and taking on more and more but it’s worth it. Anyways go to my article on Renee’s blog would love some feedback 🙂
I read your guest article about having “time on you hands” staying at home and thought it was outstanding! You made great points and I think that every working and stay at home mom should read it because we all relate to it.
Thank you Jenny, I really appreciate that 🙂
