Did you know that Dawn has more uses Beyond the Sink? $300 IKEA GC Giveaway ends 11/19 US Only #DawnBeyondtheSink
We’re also going to share a twitter party and Pinterest promotion that has some fabulous prizes including a Clothes Steamer and $300 IKEA gift card for a laundry room makeover a prize value of $600!
I have to admit I didn’t realize that Dawn had more uses besides helping me to get those dirty dishes in the sink clean. I like Dawn because it really does cut down on greasing while I’m washing dishes, it doesn’t pour out like water and it’s easy on my sensitive hands. I wash a lot of dishes by hand so it’s important to me that the dish soap doesn’t dry out my hands or irritate them. I also appreciate that they are giving back and doing what they can to save wildlife, way to go Dawn!I had the opportunity to test out one of the other uses of Dawn beyond the sink and that was for pre-treating stains before washing them. You can see other helpful tips on how to use Dawn HERE.
Our test was with a white t-shirt with a blueberry stain, never fun to get out right? Here’s what we did:
Step 1 see ugly blueberry stain:
Just another view of the stained t-shirt
Cover the stain with a maximum of 2 tsps. of Dawn when using a top-loading washing machine which I was, don’t use too much and always test with a small drop in a less visible area of the t-shirt. Do not use on delicate fabrics like silk.
Once the entire stained area is covered rub it in using your fingers and then wash normally with Tide in your washing machine**
Are you wondering how mine came out? I can’t wait to show you! I will be adding the cleaned t-shirt here later today so watch for it! In the mean time I want to share about the twitter party which will be on October 28th at 8pm CST and there will be a Dawn Pinterest Promotion too!
