There are many great gifts out there for a kid who is going to college. Oftentimes, college kids receive items for their dorm room or things that will help them study better for tests. But, for parents or friends who prefer to give a college kid a less practical gift, a clothing item featuring the logo of his or her college is an ideal choice. Many college kids are proud of where they go to college and would take any opportunity to wear clothing bearing the logo or symbol of their school. Here are some other reasons why these types of clothing items are popular with college kids.

Many college students like to attend sporting events sponsored by their school. It could be a football game, a basketball game or any other sporting event. What better way to show their school spirit than by wearing a shirt or other item with their school’s logo on it? Not surprisingly, by wearing an item like this they may feel more included in the sporting events held at their school.

Other college students like to be comfortable and fashionable at the same time. Whether they are going to class or just hanging around the library on the weekends, a polo shirt or pullover bearing the logo of their school would be comfortable to wear. Furthermore, a student can look neat and in-style while feeling relaxed. The selection of collegiate clothing by Peter Millar is an example of this type of clothing for students.
