It’s our Pet Adoption Pet of the Day – Meet Napoleon the Cat!

 #AdoptDon’tShop

To all our readers who are in the US even if you don’t know anyone in Canada please share as it’s amazing how far and wide we can reach if we just keep sharing.

This handsome man showed up at a residence and would not move on, so he was brought to the shelter. We are featuring pets across Canada and the United States so read on and feel free to share, you never know who you will reach!

Meet Napolean

Napoleon

If you’re not going to have a pet be indoors with you the majority of the time, give it lots of love, prepared to pay vet bills in an emergency and make a life time commitment then a pet is not for you. This is something we are passionate about and really want to get the message across to adopt not shop and that it’s a lifetime commitment of love!

Napoleon has a slick grey coat and large golden eyes and is approximately two-years-of-age. A big bossy boy, Napoleon is accepting the presence of other cats in HIS room although he is certain he is the king of the room. He is very clean and litter box trained.

Napoleon loves people and enjoys any and all attention given to him. He will often sit and look through the glass doors of his room hoping someone will come in and spend some time.

If Napoleon is not the perfect match for you, I recommend that you go and check out other pets at BC SPCA,  in your local shelters, sadly they are probably bursting at the seams with pets waiting to be adopted.

Last but not least, before you adopt a pet make sure you and your family are ready for it, he/she is a good fit for your lifestyle and that you’re ready to have them there forever.

  1. My mother adopted my cat in 2007 from SPCA for my Christmas gift. She said there were hundreds of pets there waiting for a loving home. I wish all animals had happy lives like we are giving to our adopted “child” Lola!
