Apple Cinnamon Overnight Oats
Apple Cinnamon Overnight Oats are the perfect cinnamon roll oatmeal to start your day! Healthy and delicious everyone loves this easy breakfast!
Why Overnight Oats?
Overnight oats are a filling and easy to make meal that you can pack with super foods like flaxseeds, chia seeds, Greek yogurt and more. They are so versatile and you can make a variety of flavors like we have with our Apple Cinnamon Overnight Oats, our Overnight Oats With Yogurt And Berries and our Simple Overnight Oats With Peanut Butter & Berries.

They are all so delicious and you can literally create any flavor that you love. This Apple Cinnamon Overnight Oats recipe is full of flavor and very filling. Here's a rundown of what this recipe has in it, uncooked rolled oats, unsweetened almond milk, low fat cream cheese, apples and cinnamon. Yep, it's that easy. You can also easily substitute the almond milk for any flavor of almond milk or any other milk you prefer.

To make overnight oats is so easy. You just layer the ingredients, then let them set in the refrigerator. I usually leave them overnight so that it's ready for my breakfast the net morning. The rolled oats soften up and thicken to create a pudding-like thickness and texture.
I always use small mason jars but you can use any airtight container but mason jars make it easier for a variety of reasons. You can grab the jar and eat on the go, it's easy to store and they don't leak if you're travelling with them.

I also always make a batch of these as they can last up to five days in the refrigerator. So you can make a batch of five, one for each weekday if that's your work schedule. Of course, I work from home but it doesn't mean that I'm that quick moving in the mornings. I'm slow to start and need something to fuel me to give me some energy to get the day going. This apple cinnamon overnight oats is perfect for that. You can top with your fresh fruit the day you eat it if you prefer which is what I usually do.
Many overnight oats recipes also include yogurt, this one doesn't but obviously our yogurt and berries overnight oats recipe does include yogurt. We like to have a variety so I like to try different ingredients while still keeping it simple and most importantly yummy!
While I have them listed as options for this recipe you can take up the healthy notch of this recipe by adding flaxseeds or chia seeds. Keep in mind if you add chia seeds they also expand and can become a pudding-like texture too so if you add them leave room for that expansion in the jar and maybe add a little less rolled oats.
Now let's get to this easy peasy apple cinnamon overnight oats recipe shall we?
