Air Fryer Parmesan Chicken Wings with Rosemary Recipe
Oh my, it’s June already and you know what that means? Warmer weather where we don’t want to turn on the oven or cook over the stove. We’ve got options, whether it’s grilling food on the BBQ or one of my other favourites is to use the AirFryer! I love making AirFryer Parmesan Chicken Wings with Rosemary!
Pssst there’s also an awesome giveaway so make sure to go to the end of this post to enter for an awesome prize!

So yummy, crispy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside, these AirFryer Parmesan Chicken Wings with Rosemary. We make them a lot all year long because they are so tasty and easy to make but even more so when it’s too warm to turn on an oven, the AirFryers come out. Yes, I said AirFryers, we use them so much we have two, one is an AirFryer Oven and the other a basket AirFryer.
We like hanging out in our backyard when the weather is nice and not having to turn on an oven. So as mentioned we use our barbecue and our AirFryers sometimes both at the same time. When we’ve had people over in the past we’ve had both our bbq and our AirFryer going so that we could serve a variety of food and still not heat up the kitchen!
These AirFryer Parmesan Chicken Wings are always a hit and I mean always. They are just so easy to make and because we have two AirFryers we can make a bigger batch of them and still not heat up the kitchen like an oven would. They’re crispy on the outside and oh so tender on the inside. Such simple ingredients too, rosemary, parmesan, salt, pepper and a bit of olive oil and that’s it besides the chicken wings themselves of course!
Some people add a lot more parmesan cheese than I do. I like it to be a more subtle flavour as parmesan can be strong and I want to be able to taste the hint of rosemary and even the salt and pepper for a perfectly blended combination of flavours. Of course you’re welcome to add more parmesan if you like it that way.
I use fresh rosemary as I grow it in my garden but you can use dried rosemary. If you like rosemary you and use dried rosemary then you may want to add more as the fresh rosemary is stronger in flavour in my opinion. I also like to use flakier salt to get that bit of saltiness taste when you eat these AirFryer Parmesan Chicken Wings. However, it’s up to you want kind of salt to use, a pink Himalayan salt is also quite tasty.
Once I place the chicken wings in the AirFryer I like to add a bit of salt, pepper, rosemary and parmesan again so that they have a nice light coating.

When I go grocery shopping I always look for the Raised by a Canadian Chicken Farmer label (see below)which luckily for us our local stores always care. If your grocery store doesn’t carry it ask the manager to bring it in!
I always like to support family-owned businesses in Canada and did you know that over 90% of Canadian chicken farms are family owned and operated? That’s right over 90% and in these challenging times it’s even more important to support not only local businesses but smaller family-owned ones! Plus we know we’re getting quality chicken.
Now let’s get to this tasty AirFryer Parmesan Chicken Wings recipe shall we?

Air Fryer Parmesan Chicken Wings with Rosemary
Enjoy these delicious AirFryer Parmesan Chicken Wings with Rosemary. Crispy on the outside, tender inside & full of flavour.
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp chopped rosemary
- 1 large tray of chicken wings (there were about 20 in mine)
- 3 tbsp parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste (1/2 tsp of salt and a sprinkle of pepper)
- Parsley for garnish (chopped)
Instructions
- Remove chicken from tray
- Place in bowl and sprinkle the oil in. Stir to coat.
- Chop up the rosemary and add in to the chicken.
- Sprinkle on salt and pepper.
- Add everything in to the airfryer and air fry at 350 for 20 minutes. You can add more salt, pepper & rosemary at this point if you like. I find longer and slower works best for chicken wings.
- At the 15 minute mark, add in the cheese. Remove when finished.
- Sprinkle some chopped parsley on top.
Notes
Please note that all AirFryers can be different and cook at different temperatures. This is what worked for our AirFryer. Check on the wings and make note of how quickly (or not) that your AirFryer cooks the wings to be crispy on the outside and tender & juicy inside.

If you like to have a dip with your wings then a ranch dip always seems nice or a creamy cucumber one, it’s up to you depending on what you like!
Now take a gander at how tender the chicken wings are on the inside!
Not to sound like I eat a lot but I like these AirFryer Parmesan Chicken Wings so much I can easily eat a dozen by myself. Again add with some veggies and it’s a meal for myself. As mentioned I personally don’t dip them in anything as I like the flavour as is.
