Disclosure: I am participating in the Chicken Farmers of Canada campaign managed by SJ Consulting. I received compensation in exchange for my participation in this campaign. The opinions on this blog are my own.
With the start of a new year we thought why not share some of our favourite chicken recipes and ones that you are readers have show us that you love. At the core of any good recipe are quality ingredients and that’s why we always buy chicken with the Raised by a Canadian Farmer logo, like the one below.
We like to support Canadian owned and family run businesses. The majority of the farmers with Chicken Farmers of Canada are just that, small family-owned farms who support their community and adhere to strict animal care standards. If your store doesn’t have it, ask for it!

Our most popular recipe time after time on our site is our Instant Pot Lemon Chicken Recipe. It’s also our most popular recipe on Pinterest for the last 3 years, wowza. It’s a simple, yet flavourful recipe which so many of you have indicated that you love.

Next on our fan favourite list and our list too is this belly filling, scrumptious Slow Cooker Thai Curry Chicken Soup. This recipe was popular on Facebook and it’s no wonder the combination of the curry paste, coconut milk, lime juice, ginger and cilantro make for one delicious soup, your tastebuds will thank you.
Love your chicken in a salad like we do? How about this Chicken and Grilled Peach Salad with crunchy pecans, fresh blueberries and a delicious homemade honey mustard dressing that pulls it together for a perfect bite every time?
If you love Instant Pot Recipes you’re bound to enjoy our Instant Pot Chicken Carnitas. If you’re not an Instant Pot fan (gasp) this recipe also has a slow cooker option too! These chicken carnitas are so full of flavour and easy on your budget too as many of the spices if not all are probably already in your cupboard. So all you need is the chicken, tortillas and whatever garnishes if any that you want!
Last but certainly not least is our twist on a scampi recipe, Chicken Scampi of course. Even better this is a one-pan meal so there are less dishes to clean-up afterwards. We love the cherry tomatoes and fresh basil with this delicious recipe.
For those who would like a yummy change and/or can’t eat seafood this chicken scampi is a delicious twist on this classic pasta dish. It’s all about the chicken, sauce and pasta and if you like more chicken or vegetables in your meal you can easily add more and use what veggies you have in the fridge!
You can also find many delicious recipes on the Chicken Farmers of Canada website like the Baked Chicken and Egg Cups recipe pictured above. It’s a tasty breakfast or snack and how yummy does that look?! I utilize their site all of the time for recipe inspiration.
